Because I agree with your statement that names in Design Documentation and Code should align, my recommendation would be to follow the accessible naming guidelines in WCAG 2.5.3: Label in Name

One less place for the developers to think about and potentially break product accessibility. This particular guideline has become even more important as voice activated user interfaces have matured. And the CCPA has just declared WCAG 2.1 as the standard to be met for privacy statements, so compliance is mandatory for some organization
